I realize sometimes it's difficult enough just coming up with ONE blog, let alone more than one, but the voice over at Daily Blog Tips communicates the idea that, yeah, it's best to have a few in the can, as well.
The accompanying idea ... and this one is key ... is that it's best to establish a "clearly outlined posting frequency."
In other words, if you post three times a week, post MWF by 9 a.m. If you post once a week, make it Fridays at noon. Whatever. (Of course, more frequency is always good, but you KNEW that.)
People have to know when your stuff should be fresh.
